Warranty transfers may take up to 30 days to verify and process. Final approval or denial will be issued within 90 days of receiving all required documentation. Warranty coverage remains active during the review period.

New Owner Acknowledgment

The new owner acknowledges receipt and review of the original signed contract and agrees to all terms, conditions, and warranty coverage outlined in that agreement.

Responsibility for Pre-Existing Claims

Any defects, service issues, or warranty claims reported prior to the ownership transfer remain the sole responsibility of the original owner and are not assumed by the new owner.

Warranty Coverage After Transfer

The warranty term does not reset upon transfer. The new owner will receive the remaining balance of the original warranty period.

Warranty coverage continues to apply only to the items listed in the original signed contract and accompanying warranty documentation.

Each warranty is eligible for one (1) free transfer. Any additional transfers within the remaining warranty period will require a $199 processing fee.

Warranty Transfer Review & Timeline

Please allow up to 30 days for Homestyle Home Improvements to verify submitted information and successfully process the warranty transfer.

Once all required documentation has been received, Homestyle Home Improvements will issue written confirmation of approval or denial via email and mail within 90 days. Warranty coverage will remain active during the review period.

If missing or inaccurate information causes delays, warranty coverage may be suspended after 90 days until the required corrections are submitted. Failure to provide accurate information initially may result in a temporary lapse of coverage.

Exclusions, Limitations & Disclaimers

All exclusions, limitations, and conditions that may void coverage are outlined in the original contract and Homestyle Home Improvements’ standard warranty. Both parties are responsible for reviewing these documents in full.

Submitting a Warranty Transfer

Warranty transfer requests may be submitted through our website or by contacting our office directly. Once submitted, you will receive a Transfer Reference Code. Please retain this code for your records, as it will be required to validate the warranty transfer for any future service requests.
